IRB会议时间表

完整的检查. 研究计划要接受IRB的全面审查, 必须在下一次IRB会议前2周收到(见下面的截止日期). 一旦提案经过审查, 研究结果将于2天内通知首席研究员. 提案可获批准，经要求修改后可获批准，或被否决. 如需修改, the principal investigator will be asked to resubmit the proposal showing the changes; however, 修改后的提案通常可以采用加急程序进行审查.

加快审查. 大多数已批准研究的更新和小的修订, 以及初步批准所要求的修改, 可以不开正式会议就进行审查吗, 使用加速程序. 课程学分的学生项目通常也可以加快.  这样的话, no deadline applies; the principal investigator will normally be notified of the outcome within 1-2 weeks of receipt. IRB主席决定是否可以对提案进行快速审查, 使用45CFR46的指导.
